Mini Pochette…fancy name for small bag thingy…

There was a birthday earlier in the month and, of course, I wasn’t organised enough to have the pressie ready on the actual day.   But…unlike last year when I wasn’t organised enough to have the pressie ready on the actual day and then wandered off on the Big Trip Over the Water (a year ago last Thursday…where did that year go!)…I did manage to get it finished and presented to the recipient in the actual birthday month – clap, clap, clap…

And…as a bonus…two more OPAM finishes for June!  Wahoo!!

Strawberry lanyard, one of the projects by the talented Natalie Ross that was part of Inspired Stitches…the strawberries are a pincushion and a scissors pouch…

…and…

A mini pochette from the book “Fabulous Fat Quarter Bags” by Susan Briscoe.  So easy to whip up and the perfect size suitcase for the strawberry lanyard.  I managed to follow the pattern and the only modification I made was to include a little “handle” on the top when I stumbled upon the red toggle button in the haberdashery.

Happy sewing…

  1. Way to go, birthday presents and 2 June finishes. Be careful and pace yourself or you’ll wear yourself out!
